I have finally taken the plunge and moved my blog to my own domain. If you have followed me from my old Blogger blog to this one, thank you.
In my last post on that blog, I explained how easy it was to move my blog to WordPress at my own domain. My domain host company, BlueHost made it incredibly easy. It took the clicks of a few buttons and it was done.
As you can see, I haven’t had time to make the blog look attractive. That can be my task for next weekend.
BlueHost makes it incredibly easy to host your own blog – I think their fees are very reasonable and I’m able to run as many websites as I like off my domain name! Now that’s handy!

Congrats on the move to your own domain. Have followed you for some time now, so I am glad to be able to get your new location into Google reader. I have moved stuff many times for for a while I would post reminders weekly on your old blog that you have moved.
I use BlueHost too. It’s a real boon to be able to host as many domains as you like with the one hosting fee.
Moving on to a personal domain feels great right. Some time later I might also do the same. But is it difficult to transfer contents from a blogspot site to new domain?
